Sara Harris
Raised in Washington, D.C., Sara Harris' love for art began early.  At five she was accepted at Washington's Corcoran Mueum school where she studied for ten years. Moving to New York City she studied at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn,  and at the Art Students' League in Manhattan, before becoming an illustrator and graphic designer in the New York art studios of Ruffins/Taback, Inc. and Wells, Rich & Green, Inc.

After a move to Europe, she began working for herself, experimenting with pastels and eventually oils.  Returning to the United States, she settled in the Hudson River Valley which provides her with the light, beauty and serenity that she needs to create her artistic vision of trees, nature, dreams, color, energy and spirit -- all explored thrugh paint and pastel.
